This beautiful hummingbird was painted for a close friend who is no longer with us. Taken from a picture of the statue in  Musquodoboit Harbour, NS.  this friends home town.

   

Lovely greens in both the hummingbird, the leaves and stems of the large pink Morning Glory flower she alights on along  with the  background of  pinkish light   cloud cover over blue sky makes this bird stand out.
